12.     News from Mrs. McGuane (Carver Library Media Specialist): As we get started on a new school year I wanted to share information about the library. My goal for the library is to encourage and support a love of reading and promote the importance of literacy. Our Carver library offers a variety of books as well as access to ebooks and audiobooks. Students will come to the library with their reading classes for lessons and to select books to read. Students can also ask a teacher to the library when needed. Another part of the role of the librarian is to assist with chromebook concerns and issue hotspots.
