Know someone who wants to impact students and
Carver! Please consider encouraging or
nominating the person for an office in Carver PTSA next year! Carver PTSA is
working on nominating and securing new volunteers to fill the following
positions next year: Secretary, Treasurer, 1st Vice-President, 2nd
Vice-President, and President. PTSA is an important part of Carver as we work
together to provide support for our Carver school community. If you are
interested in finding more information about the positions for next year, please
reply to this email, contact PTSA via email at CarverPTSA@outlook.com or
call the office.

The SPS library department is looking for
feedback from parents on library access. Please consider taking a few minutes
to give your feedback before the March 30 survey ends. Click
here for the link.
7.
Carver Middle School students have partnered
with teachers to create a Pick-a-Project
to fund a media lab for students. This project would provide two green screens
complete with lights, eight recording boxes, microphones, and soundproofing
tiles to allow our students to create broadcasts for school announcements and record
audio or video for class assignments. Please consider sharing this
Pick-a-Project with others to help Carver students. Click
here for a link to share and help!
9.
Springfield Public Schools will now offer the
option of receiving important alerts via text message. In the past, you may
have received voice calls from the school district to share important
information such as school cancellations. Soon, you may choose to receive this
information via text as well. SPS will send out more information in the near
future from the communications department about the option of alerts via text.
10.
Want to stay connected to the weekly
announcements using Remind texting? If so, text @1carver to 81010 to get these
announcements weekly. The announcements can also be found on Carver’s Twitter
and Facebook pages.
