Parents! Need help
accessing and checking online learning with your student??? Click
here for a list of resources from SPS. You
can also click here for a guide created by our
librarian for “how-to” items for parents. Please be sure to reach out with questions as
we navigate online learning. Ask your student to canvas inbox (email) his or
her teachers and read the answers from the teacher together or email the
teachers directly (teacher
email list here)! Teachers are available via email or the
librarian is willing to help via email, phone, or Instagram. At Carver, we want
you to know we are in this together and we want to help you and your child
during this virtual learning experience at home.
11.
Walking home from school using Battlefield Rd? For the
safety of our students as they cross the crosswalks in the carline and on
Battlefield, all students walking home
from school toward Battlefield Rd will be dismissed from school after the car line
has ended. For the first few days of school the carline may last until
around 3:15 pm. Students walking home using the trail can leave at 2:55 pm.
12.
Picking up your
student in the afternoon carline? We will be dismissing students
differently this year for the carline. This year, we will dismiss students at
2:55 pm by student name only. Students will remain in the classroom until they
are called to the carline by the adults supervising. To speed up the carline
time, please have your student’s
first and last name displayed on paper on your dash. Please use LARGE
letters.
13.
We want virtual learning to be successful!

sps.org, please select ‘Carver’ from the list of schools at the top of the
page, then select ‘About’ on the Carver page. You can find the list of teacher
emails listed under staff directory.
