the school year. Be sure to check Carver's webpage for all additional announcements
on clubs, activities, and student events!

Please join us for our Veteran’s Day Assembly
at 8:30 am on November
12

·
If you have a family member in the military (past
or present), please submit a picture for
the assembly. You can reply with an emailed copy of the photo or send a
photo to the office with the family member name, student name, and branch of
the military. We will get the photo back to you after scanning it.
·
We
have reserved seating at the assembly for veterans or those currently serving
and their families. Please let us know in advance if you can attend the
assembly. On November 12, we will escort you to your reserved seating.
·
The PTSA Book Fair (located in Carver
library) begins November 12 – 16, but will be open immediately after the
assembly for parents and guardians.
2.
Basketball games start this week. Student
spectators attending home or away games without
a guardian present during games must be
picked up or have pick-up rides in the stands by 8:00 pm for each
home and away event. Students attending the game as a spectator should make
clear arrangements to have a ride at the designated pick-up time PRIOR to
attending the game. Students picked up later than the expected pick-up time or
with no pick-up ride in the stands by 8 pm could forfeit the privilege of
attending future athletic activities as a spectator. If the game is not over at
the 8 pm pick-up time, the driver/pick-up ride can enter the game for FREE for
the remainder of the game to sit with the student in the stands.
