Hello Carver Families,
SPS has announced that students will keep chromebooks
at home this summer until the first day of school next year. If you are moving
this summer and will not be attending any Springfield Public School next year,
you may return your chromebook during the times at the end of this message.
Second, if you need items from Carver (such as the
yearbook you pre-purchased), PE clothes from a PE locker, or band or orchestra
instruments or if you have items that need to return to Carver (such as a
uniform, Kajeet hotspot, or library book), we are available on these dates for
pick-up and drop-off:
o 6th grade, Last name A-M, can pick up
or drop off in the carline on Monday, May 11, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
o 6th grade, Last name N-Z, can pick up
or drop off in the carline on Tuesday, May 12, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
o 7th grade, Last name A-M, can pick up
or drop off in the carline on Wednesday, May 13, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
o 7th grade, Last name N-Z, can pick up
or drop off in the carline on Thursday, May 14, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
o 8th grade, Last name A-M, can pick up
or drop off in the carline on Monday, May 18, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
o 8th grade, Last name N-Z, can pick up
or drop off in the carline on Tuesday, May 19, from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
**Make-up dates and drop-off dates for district
Kajeets for all grades on May 19 and May 20 from 3:00 pm -7:00pm.
- The
Drop-off and pick-up area will be in the same carline.
- If
you have items left in a classroom, please message or email the teacher
directly so they can move the items to the carline and ensure the items
are ready for you during pick-up times.
- Students
will not enter the building to get items from a classroom.
- Tape
your student’s name on the item(s) you return.
- You
can also find the dates for pick-up and drop -off on the Carver website.
Please try to adhere to the dates and times for pick
up and drop off so that we can avoid long car lines as
we deliver the items back to students.
Thank you for your assistance as we work toward
providing an education for your student through the end of the year. Please
know as a Carver family, we are committed to serving our students and care
about your family.
Take care and be safe.
Dr. Powers
