MAP testing
begins tomorrow morning for all grade levels at Carver!
Please make sure your child has plenty of rest and is on time tomorrow to
school with a charged chromebook. Students are required to use the
chromebook issued to them for MAP testing. We will be MAP testing Tuesday and
Wednesday this week and Tuesday and Wednesday next week! Students are not
allowed to use cell phones during MAP testing and must have the device turned
off and put away during the entire MAP testing time from 8:15 am – 11:20 am.
Please call the office if you need to get a note to your child during that
time. Please talk with your child about MAP testing and encourage them to do
their best!

Carver Middle School students have partnered
with teachers to create a Pick-a-Project
to fund a media lab for students. This project would provide two green screens
complete with lights, eight recording boxes, microphones, and soundproofing
tiles to allow our students to create broadcasts for school announcements and
record audio or video for class assignments. Please consider sharing this
Pick-a-Project with others to help Carver students. Click
here for a link to share and help!
4.
If you haven’t purchased a yearbook and would
like to have one reserved, please do so this week! You can purchase a yearbook
in the office or online at yearbookforever.com.
The cost for a yearbook is $18.
