Carver Announcements for March 5

Hello Carver Families!

We hope you had a great weekend! This email is intended to keep parents updated on reminders, upcoming activities, and announcements. Be sure to let the office know if you change your email address. Be sure to check Carver's webpage for updated daily announcements. The next parent email will be after we return from spring break.

1.        The next Carver PTSA meeting is scheduled for April 9 at 6:15 pm. If you need more information, please contact PTSA via email at CarverPTSA@outlook.com.

2.        Yearbooks are on sale in the office or online at yearbookforever.com. The cost for a yearbook is $18.

3.        Spring break for students is March 9 - 16. SPARC is offering a program designed for middle school students if you need care for your student for any of those dates. Contact Tasia Kinney at 874-2412 or at tkinney@springfieldmo.gov or click here for more information.

4.        Summer School EXPLORE program is now accepting summer school enrollment. Click here to enroll.

5.        Sports physicals will be offered again through Trudi’s Kids on the following dates: February 20, February 21, March 27, and May 3. If your student will need a sport physical for the late spring or fall, please call 523-6800 (school office) or 523-6830 (school nurse) for details. Click here for information about Trudi’s Kids.

6.        End-of-third-Quarter is March 8! Please be sure you and your child check grades online prior to Thursday afternoon! Call or email if you are unable to access grades. To access grade cards or progress reports, use the directions below:
          Log on to the home access district website:

          https://homeaccess.sps.org/homeaccess/

*Enter your user ID and case sensitive password. If you do not remember your password, please obtain a handout with your home access password from school.

*If you have not logged in before, you will be asked to create two security challenge questions before proceeding. Please create the questions and supply the answers.

*Click the GRADES at the top, center of the page.

*Click on Report Card or Progress Report.

7.        Want to nominate a current Carver parent or future 6^th grade Carver parent for PTSA office for 2018-19 school year? If so, please let us know in the office or email PTSA. We promise to keep your name anonymous! J
