Carver Announcements for Dec 11

Hello Carver Families!

We hope you had a great weekend. This email is intended to keep parents updated on reminders, upcoming activities, and announcements. Be sure to let the office know if you change your email address. Be sure to check Carver's webpage for updated daily announcements.

1.        Second quarter will end Dec 21. Please be sure to check your student’s grades online this week before grade reports are finalized by teachers on December 22. Second quarter grade reports will be available January 4. To access grade reports, use the directions below:
·       Log on to the home access district website:
https://homeaccess.sps.org/homeaccess/
·       Enter your user ID and case sensitive password. If you do not remember your password, please obtain a handout with your home access password from school.
·       If you have not logged in before, you will be asked to create two security challenge questions before proceeding. Please create the questions and supply the answers.
·       Click the IPR GRADES at the top, center of the page.
·       Click on Report Card or Progress Report.

2.        We will have construction in the offices and main hall outside the offices from December 12 to January 16 to replace the HVAC system. During construction, the offices will be relocated to the back side of the stage (room 104) in the cafeteria. The main entrance to the building will not be impacted. The main hall will be accessible during school hours from 6 am – 4 pm.

3.        Please join us for Carver PTSA meeting on January 8 at 6:15 pm in the Carver library! If you need more information, please contact PTSA via email at CarverPTSA@outlook.com or on facebook at Carver PTSA.

4.        Carver students have the opportunity to visit Washington, D.C. during spring break through WorldStride Discoveries Organization. For more information, email David Rice at djrice@spsmail.org.

5.        Recognizing your child’s teacher or SPS employee is easy! Click on the link here  or find the form on the SPS website!

Have a great week!
